Raising the hand
When in a conference call users, users can raise their hand to indicate that they would like to speak up. This features is useful in calls with numerous participants where everybody is usually muted.
Hands raised are displayed on the users video or avatar as well as in the top left corner of the calls area. Additionally a number indicates, how many hands were raised.
Reactions
Reactions are a likewise feature to express emotions during the call. That could be feedback during a presentation for example. Reactions are somewhat anonymous since they just float over everybody's calls screens - without names attached.
Requirements
For CoWork Calls to work it is required to set up the server using HTTPS, e.g. via Let's Encrypt. Users have to have a microphone and optionally a camera attached to their computer. The operating system and the browser must be allowed to use these devices. Users are usually prompted for permission by the browser.
