PAM AuthenticationInactive![](?method=store.icon&pid=authentication.pam&beta=false&version=)
The following information is derived from the plugin description.
Authentication of users with login accounts on Linux / MacOS operating systems using the build-in PAM provider.
This login type is a sub-type of the System Authentication. Setting up an application specific PAM login configuration in /etc/pam.d/<corePluginId> is supported. The <corePluginID> can be obtained from the log file line "Starting initialization of application with ID". The authentication provider uses /etc/pam.d/login as fallback.
