The avatar plugin allows users to use their already defined avatar images from services such as Gravatar and BIMI. The server can be configured to request avatar images when the user is created, whereby users can also change their avatars themselves later. The images are updated at 24-hour intervals.

In order to use the BIMI image service, please also install the otherwise optional SVG image embedding plugin.
