CalendarActive

The following information is derived from the plugin description.

The Calendar application lets you plan and manage appointments in personal, shared, and external calendars. It gives you a complete overview of your appointments and brings your own calendars, calendars shared with you by other users or groups, and calendars from external sources such as Google or Outlook together in one place.

Appointments are shown in year, month, week, and day views, complemented by a mini calendar and full-text search. Calendars are grouped into your own, shared, and hidden calendars and can be shown or hidden for each view without changing the appointments stored in them.

External calendars can be connected through ICS, CalDAV, Google, and Outlook and are synchronized automatically. In all calendars you can write to, appointments - including recurring appointments - can be created, edited, moved, and deleted, and reminders notify you before an appointment.

Calendars can be shared with users and groups using Read, Write, or Administrator permissions, and subscribed to from other calendar programs such as Outlook, Google Calendar, or Apple Calendar via ICS, CalDAV, and WebCAL URLs.

The plugin also provides the Task Planner with a calendar data source: a calendar file or URL can be used as a series to iterate over its events, or as a trigger to run a task when an event occurs.

Changelog Information

  • The calendar application supports planning and managing appointments in personal, shared and external calendars:
    • Appointments are displayed in year, month, week and day views, complemented by a mini calendar and full-text search
    • Own, shared and external calendars (ICS, CalDAV, Google, Outlook) are consolidated in one place with automatic synchronization
    • Appointments and recurring appointments with reminders can be created, edited, moved and deleted
    • Calendars can be shared with read, write or administrator permissions for users and groups
    • Calendars can be subscribed to via ICS, CalDAV and WebCAL URLs in other calendar programs such as Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar
  • The calendar trigger in the Task Planner can filter events.
  • For calendar triggers and series, added the placeholders calendar.event.startDatePretty and calendar.event.endDatePretty which use the server timezone to create a more readable form of the dates.

Fixed Bugs

  • Setting up a calendar Task Planner trigger on repeating events that began in the past did not correctly compute the next execution time.
  • Calendar triggers with trigger times set to trigger after calendar events would not trigger for repeating events.
  • Triggers can be set to start after events as opposed to only before them.
  • The calendar trigger automatically refreshes its events from the given calendar every 30 seconds.

Fixed Bugs

  • Next task execution times filter out past potential execution times.
  • There is a new calendar trigger that allows running Task Planner task with a time offset when an event occurs in the given ics or iCal file.
