The following information is derived from the plugin description.
The store is the central entry point for managing and updating installed plugins and getting to know new functions.
Functions that were already delivered with the installation can be activated and deactivated at any time, with the exception of core functionality, which cannot be switched off. If the server has an internet connection it regularly downloads an updated list of available versions in the background. A notification is sent to administrative users if new versions of the plugins or the product are available. In addition to the normal updates, there is also the option of installing pre-release versions, so-called beta versions. You can switch between the final versions and beta versions in the settings.
Changelog Information
- The store now shows a link to the full changelog and migration information history in the plugin details.
- In the plugin changelog history you can select a specific version to jump to that section.
- In the help, when opening the release information page, there is now a dropdown to select a version from which, up until the current one, the release changes are displayed.
Security Fixes
- Plugin sideload is disabled if permissions are not restricted in the system.
- Allow navigating through screenshots with the cursor keys. Escape key will close the preview.
- The plugin store is new and replaces the configuration of the plugins in the configuration
- New versions and features are requested from the public plugin store and can be installed
- On future updates, the setup will automatically update all activated plugins from the store
