Edit Start Conditions

In this dialog, the start conditions for a parallel ticket are created. If all set conditions have been fulfilled, the ticket will be created and set to start activity. By default, the ticket is created immediately when the process is started.

The following conditions are available. If multiple conditions are specified, all of them must be fulfilled before the parallel ticket is started:

  • Ticket Finished: Creates the parallel ticket after the selected ticket is finished.
  • Activity Reached: Creates the parallel ticket after the selected activity is reached.
  • Activity Left: Creates the parallel ticket after the selected activity has been exited.

Analogous to the Extended conditions of the connections, it is also set for each start condition how it is to be interpreted:

  • Strict: The selected condition must be reached as set, otherwise the parallel ticket will not be created.
  • Relaxed: The selected condition can be skipped if it can no longer be reached by the process.

Additionally, the condition Latest Start Date is available if at least one previously mentioned condition has already been specified and the parallel ticket is thus not created immediately:

  • Latest Start Date: Creates the parallel ticket no later than a specified time.
    • When editing the setting in the configuration, a relative time is entered here.
    • When editing the setting while applying it to a ticket, an absolute time is entered in the future.
