With the help of Data Import, master data of users and/or the inventory can be transferred to i-net HelpDesk to avoid multiple data maintenance.
A company's user data is usually managed in a central location, such as an Active Directory. This data can be imported into i-net HepDesk Server via the LDAP interface. If the data is managed in another data source, a connection to it can usually be established. The data import is a one-way synchronization into the i-net HelpDesk server, which means that no changed data is written back to the data source. The data sources must be set up in the "Configuration" under "Connections".
