Company Info
Product Title
The product title shows the entry i-net HelpDesk by default. This title can be changed, for example to the name of your support organization. It is used in the title bar of the desktop application, as a heading in the home page, and in "Users and Groups" as a heading for the i-net HelpDesk groups.
URL to own logo
You can use your own logo. Your logo will be displayed in the following places:
-
in the web interface (top left),
-
as a logo (top right) when printing reports,
-
in the user's login dialog if single sign-on is not used
-
as well as in auto-emails, if the
{logo}
placeholder has been set in the corresponding HTML template.
The location of the file must be accessible by the i-net HelpDesk server. There is a certain size limitation for displaying the logo - depending on the place it is used. We recommend a maximum image height of 40 pixels. All common graphic formats are supported as file format, such as PNG, JPG and GIF.
Company Address
Address of your own company. It appears on some reports, e.g. the order form.
Append product title to logo
It is possible to append the product title to the logo. If a custom style or font is desired, the specified logo must already contain this text and the checkmark must be unchecked.
HTTP-URL to the imprint
To provide users of the start page and the associated applications with a link to the support or imprint, an HTTP/S address to this page can be entered here.
Display name for imprint page
By setting an HTTP/S address to the imprint, a link will be added to the footer of the home page and related applications. This link has the display name "Support / Imprint" by default and can be changed by specifying your own text.
External visible URL
The URL given here will be used throughout the system to make absolute links in, e.g. emails work. The URL is determined using the hostname by default. This property does not change the URL at which the server listens.
The external visible URL must be used if the i-net HelpDesk server is behind a reverse proxy.
Note: The proxy URL should be provided here in a cloud-based environment.
Note: The URL may be relevant for the licensing process and should be provided correctly - so that the start page of the server can be reached using the address. The protocol, FQDN, port and an application server context can be used for the URL
Installation Hint for the Application (PWA)
Users of the web interface will see a hint in supported browsers for most applications that allows the application to be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) in the system. This is then executed as a separate window and can be pinned to the taskbar of the operating system.
This hint can also be permanently hidden by the user. If this hint is not to be offered at all, it can be disabled with the option. Depending on the product, more detailed restrictions may also be available.
Note: Guest and master accounts do not receive the hint.
Note: Without the installation hint, the application can still be installed via the user menu or the browser's function.
