Kanban Layout Settings
The Kanban Layout Settings customize how ticket cards appear for the current user. Open the dialog from the options menu above a Kanban board. The selected layout and fields apply to Kanban boards independently of the layouts used for ticket lists.
The dialog contains a card preview, the layout selection, and the fields available for the selected layout. Board columns, column colors, and the tickets included in the view are configured in the Kanban View Settings.
Kanban
The Kanban layout displays detailed cards with the following mandatory fields:
-
Subject
-
Preview Text
-
Ticket Number
Optional fixed fields include Status, Input Channel, Last Modified, Changed By, and Last Supporter. These fields can be shown or hidden. Resource, Category, and Inquiry Date are the default additional fields.
Up to six additional fields can be displayed on each card.
Kanban Compact
The Kanban Compact layout uses smaller cards with priority coloring, a large multi-line subject, and a user icon. Subject is mandatory.
Optional fixed fields include Steps, Attachments, Inquiry Date, Changed By, and Last Supporter. These fields can be shown or hidden. Ticket Number and Priority are the default additional fields.
Up to four additional fields can be displayed on each card.
Visible Fields on a Kanban Card
Fixed fields can be shown or hidden unless they are mandatory for the layout. Additional fields can be added, removed, reordered using drag and drop or the arrow buttons, and restored to their defaults.
Depending on the selected field, its display can be configured as Image, Text, or Image and Text.
Column Widths
Column widths are changed directly on the board by dragging the handle at the right edge of a column. The width is stored with the current Kanban layout. Use Reset column widths in the board's options menu to restore the default width.
