Calendar

The Calendar ticket extension shows a compact calendar on the ticket page while you work on a ticket. It displays the calendars and appointments available to you. By default, the extension appears in the ticket sidebar. In Layout Settings, you can switch the layout to tabs - then it is shown as the Calendar tab.

You configure the extension in Tickets application → Ticket → Layout Settings, like other ticket page extensions such as Timeline or Links. It is visible by default when the Calendar plugin and the ticket list are available, and you can show, hide, or move it there.

The screenshot shows the extension as the Calendar tab. The month overview is on the left and the day view of the selected day on the right. All-day appointments appear at the top, followed by the hourly grid for timed appointments. The calendar selection and the actions menu let you control visible calendars and additional actions.

Month and Day View

The extension initially shows the current month. Days with appointments are marked in the month overview. Selecting a day opens the appointments for that day. In wider layouts, the month overview and the day view are displayed next to each other. In narrower layouts, the actions menu can switch between month view and day view.

The arrow buttons move to the previous or next month. Clicking the month title jumps back to Today.

Calendars and Appointments

The calendar menu controls which calendars are displayed in the ticket extension. Only calendars and appointments for which you have access are shown.

You can open appointments from the extension. The appointment details window shows the appointment information and provides the same edit options as the Calendar application, depending on your permissions.

Actions

The actions menu offers quick access to the Calendar application. You can open the full calendar view or create a new appointment. When you create a new appointment from the ticket extension, the ticket subject is used as the appointment title and a link to the ticket is stored in the appointment URL field.
