Let's Encrypt Certificate
HTTPS connections are an easy and secure way to transfer data. Especially if the server can be contacted from the internet, an HTTPS connection should be used.
Only if the server is accessible from the Internet via port 80 can a certificate be requested for this server from the Let's Encrypt certification authority. This certificate is only valid for a limited period of time. When you set up the Let's Encrypt certificate, a task is created in the Task Planner. This task is executed every day to check whether the certificate will expire within the next ten days. If this is the case, the certificate is updated.
Domains (FQDN)
You can add any number of domains (FQDN) that belong to this server and be accessible from letsencrypt.org. e.g.
reporting.sample.com myapp.sample.com www.sample.com
Subscriber Agreement
You have to agree to the subscriber agreement before you can request the certificate.
