Ignore invisible elementsActive

The following information is derived from the plugin description.

Ignores elements during the comparison which are most likely not visible to the user.

The filter checks for elments that have a transparent color or the same color as the background. It also filters elements, that are not in the visible area of a document.

Changelog Information

  • The option "Compute actual visibility" of the filter "Ignore invisible elements" is considerably faster on pages with many overlapping shapes, especially curved shapes as in maps, diagrams or logos.

Fixed Bugs

  • Shapes without a fill or with a transparent or translucent fill, as well as text elements, are no longer treated as occluding other elements. Nearly opaque fills are still treated as opaque.
  • "Compute actual visibility": Shapes that are partially covered by other elements no longer lose visible parts and no longer produce tiny invisible fragments. Filled shapes split into several visible parts keep their correct outline.
  • "Compute actual visibility": When shapes of the same color are merged, separate parts and holes of a shape are retained. A shape with a hole is no longer merged if this would fill the hole.
  • "Compute actual visibility": Comparing the same documents again always gives the same result.
