Crosstab Properties - Data

On this tab you can set the data source and the group options for the crosstab.

Fields

A list of all available fields, which can be used to create a crosstab. A field could be a database or a formula field. Locate the field you want to use and add it to the row, column or value area using the Plus button of this area.

Rows/Columns

Contains the instances of a database or formula field, which should be shown as rows or columns. Select a field, then click the add button (plus sign) to append this field as a row or column to the crosstab. The field will be added to the row/columns area. Select a field in the row/columns area, click the remove button (minus sign) to remove this field from crosstab.

Group Options 

You can set up different options for each row or column, for instance sort order, group name or background color. Click on the group options button below the row or column area to open the group options dialog.

Swap columns with rows

To swap the fields in "Columns" with the fields in "Rows", click on the "Swap" button below the row or column area.

Summarized Values

Contains one or more "summary fields", which should be shown in the cells of the crosstab. Select a field, then click the add button to append a summary field. The field is added to the value area. Select a field in the value area, click the remove button to remove this field from crosstab.

Operation

Select the summary operation you want to perform on a summary field by choosing one of the functions from the operation combo box.
