Discrete Chart Properties

Discrete charts all have in common that the values are grouped into discrete, singular groups. These groups are then display according to the chart type.

Bar Charts Bar Charts are charts with rectangular bars, each sized proportionally to the values they are displaying. The bars can be displayed as 2D or 3D bars, also their orientation can be set to be vertical or horizontal. Additionally, it is possible to stack values on each other and scale them to 100% to create a stacked or percentual bar chart.
Line Charts Line Charts are charts on which each displayed value of a specific group is connected by a line. This line can be customized by line color, thickness, and style, also it is possible to choose the lines to be 2D or 3D lines. Optionally, the value points can be displayed as individual shapes. The lines can be stacked on top of each other and then scaled to 100% to create a stacked or percentual line chart.
Area Charts Area Charts are similar to line charts, except that the lines are used as boundaries for areas which are filled with a distinguishing color. It is possible to display the area as a 2D or 3D area, also it is possible to stack areas on top of each other and then scale them to 100% to create a stacked or percentual area chart.
Circle Charts Circle Charts are charts based on a circle instead of a Cartesian coordinate system. The various groupings are assigned a section of the arc of the circle proportionally to their value. The various sections of the circles are then colored according to the group. Note that you can choose a 2D pie, 3D pie, 2D donut, and 3D donut view.
3D Object Charts 3D Object Charts are 3-dimensional charts which display values as either 3D bars, pyramids, cones, cylinders, octagons, or floating blocks. The values are arranged on two axes, and their height is determined by their value.
3D Surface Charts 3d Surface Charts are charts which plot values in a 3D area, then connect the values to display a 3D area in various ways: either as a "roof chart" (connecting the values horizontally), a "honeycomb chart" (connecting each value to its anchor point directly below it), or by connecting the various group values to 3D areas, or by connecting the various series values to 3D areas.
Radar Charts Radar Charts are charts for which values are plotted on radials of a circle, then connected to form areas. The various groups are distinguished by the colors of the lines or areas in the radar.
Stock Charts Stock Charts are charts which display the minimum and maximum values for each group, and then connect them as a bar. Optionally it is possible to mark the first and last values of the group on the bars.
