Crosstab Properties
The crosstab properties guides you through the creation of a crosstab element. A crosstab is a table which manages cells, rows and columns.
Each row represents multiple instances of a database or formula field grouped according to the group field associated with it. Each column appears on the left side of the table and defines the first criterion the cell must meet.
Each column represents multiple instances of a database or formula field grouped according to the group field associated with it. Each row appears at the top of the table defines the first criterion the cell must meet.
A crosstab cell contains one or more "summary fields" and appears for each instance of a crossing of a row and column. The summary operation associated with each summary field summarizes over all instances of a summary field meeting the row and column criterion.
You can use the following tabs to modify the properties of the crosstab:
-
Data tab - lets you append rows and columns and lets you set the summary operation for all nodes.
-
Global Options tab - on this tab you can set additional properties which affect the look and feel of the crosstab.
-
Grid Lines tab - on this tab you can configure the grid lines of the crosstab, e.g. you can hide, set the style and width of the grid lines.
Once created by clicking the OK button you can place the crosstab by dragging the mouse in the design editor. You can now further adjust the look and feel of the crosstab and you can change the properties of a cell, a row a column or the fields that are contained within each row/column or cell as usual by right clicking on its border to invoke the properties dialog.

You can add elements to this area by inserting elements in this area. E.g. you want to a field element to the crosstab you just have to drag a column from the fieldbrowser to this area. Following elements can be added to the crosstab decription section:
-
