Hierarchical grouping is a grouping method with a tree structure. When you group data hierarchically, you sort information based on the relationship between two fields. It requires a group field and a parent field and groups according to a field's position in the hierarchy. The group field and parent field must be of the same data type.

HTML stands for "Hypertext Markup Language" and is a subset of XML, created specifically for the creation of hypertext web pages. Hypertext is text containing hyperlinks. It is possible to export to HTML format from within the viewer. Simply click on the export as icon, and select HTML as your export format. This will export your report as an HTML file.
