Value

A value is the result of an expression. For example 2+4 results in the value 6.

Variable

The opposite of a constant value a variable is a placeholder for a value and can change its value at any time.

Variance

A measure of dispersion of a set of data points around their mean value. The mathematical expectation of the average squared deviations from the mean. The square root of the variance is the standard deviation. This function can be used in a formula with the keyword Variance

View

A view is an alternative way of looking at the data of one or more tables, usually created as a selection of columns from different tables. For the most part, views are accessed in the same way as tables.

View with Parameter(s)

Views can be created with parameters needed to select the correct records. These are basically equivalent to stored procedures.
