In this chapter all dialogs which have something to do with the database connection will be discussed.

In this dialog the database connections will be configured. There you select which databases you are using and the account information for the connections will be set.

This dialog will help you choose which database or databases you wish to use for your report, and which table sources from these databases you need. It also allows you to join the table sources according to certain criteria, or to enter SQL Commands as table sources.

To get the data sorted in a specific way use this dialog. Here you can define how the data should be sorted, e.g. on a specific column ascending.

Here you can define a filter which will be translated in SQL and which will be added to the sql statement executed.

To define which groups will displayed you can define a group selection formula.
