The Ad Hoc Table component creates a list of data entries, allowing optional groups and sums. You have to select a Data Source to proceed. It is important to know that changes made in any viewing mode will be retained even when selecting a view with fewer settings.

• In the Simple Settings, only the selection of table columns is required. Here, you can choose the data representation formats, depending on the data type, as well as selecting a summary function. Optionally, you can select a data filter so that large data sets are broken down.

• Selecting the Moderate Settings view additionally allows adding a custom sort order of the columns. Please note, that you may also select columns that are not visible.

• The Complex Settings view adds the ability to create groups by one or more selected columns from the data source.

Note: The number of loaded data records is limited. If more data is available, it can be loaded via a button at the top of the toolbar and at the end of the component.

Note: Switching the view of the settings does not change the selected settings.
