Euro-Office Integration Configuration
The Euro-Office Integration allows editing office documents stored in i-net HelpDesk ticket attachments and Drive entries directly in the browser. It connects to a separate Euro Office or ONLYOFFICE-compatible document server over HTTP(S). The document server runs as its own Docker container, separate from the HelpDesk application.
Prerequisites
Before you can use the Euro-Office Integration, you need a running document server. The recommended setup is a Euro-Office document server via Docker. Alternatively, you can use an existing compatible ONLYOFFICE server.
-
Recommended setup path: Euro-Office with Docker
-
Compatibility setup: ONLYOFFICE on Windows
-
Existing server: public base URL and JWT secret if JWT authentication is enabled
The editing functionality remains disabled as long as the Document server URL field is left empty.
In the default configuration view, the public document server URL, the JWT secret, and the session signing secret are shown. The remaining URL overrides are optional and only appear in the advanced view.
Options
Document server URL
The public base URL of your Euro-Office document server or a compatible ONLYOFFICE server. This is the URL that browsers use to access the document server.
-
Default value: (empty, editing disabled)
Internal document server URL
An optional internal URL that HelpDesk uses for server-side downloads from the document server. This is typically used in Docker setups where the document server is reachable over the internal Docker network. Leave empty to reuse the public document server URL.
-
Default value: (empty, uses public URL)
Internal HelpDesk URL
An optional internal base URL that the document server uses to download content and send callbacks back to HelpDesk. In Docker setups, this is typically the internal Docker service URL. Leave empty to automatically use the current public HelpDesk URL.
-
Default value: (empty, uses public HelpDesk URL)
Document server API URL
An optional override for the editor API script URL. The default path is /web-apps/apps/api/documents/api.js below the document server URL. You can provide a custom URL if your document server serves the API from a different location.
-
Default value: (empty, uses standard path)
Document server JWT secret
An optional shared secret for signing and verifying JWT tokens used in ONLYOFFICE-compatible callbacks and editor configurations. The same secret must be configured in the document server (JWT_SECRET environment variable). Leave empty to keep JWT authentication disabled. If you leave it empty while a document server URL is set and the document server has JWT enabled, editing documents will not work.
-
Default value: (empty, JWT disabled)
Session signing secret
An optional secret for signing HelpDesk editor session tokens. These tokens secure the communication between HelpDesk and the document server during an editing session. Leave empty to keep the current value. If no value exists yet, HelpDesk automatically generates one and stores it in the configuration.
-
Default value: (empty, auto-generated when needed)
