All summary functions have the ability to group the summaries by a certain field. If this field is a Date, DateTime, Time, or Boolean field, it is possible to specify the condition on which the group should change (all other value types change groups as soon as the value itself changes). To specify this, use one of the strings below. If you use a string not included here, it will cause the formula to not function correctly.

Please note that the default setting for groups is "any change" for Boolean fields, "daily" for Date, and "by second" for DateTime and Time fields.
