If the server runs on a Windows operating system, users can automatically be logged into the system with their Windows accounts. This provider is installed by default in Windows operating systems.

The configuration allows selecting the authentication protocol used internally. Selecting one that contains Negotiate makes use of the Kerberos authentication mechanism.
