The following information is derived from the plugin description.
The Data Source Manager provides an interface to manage the Data Source Configurations required for creating reports.
Data sources provide the structured information on which reports are designed. A data source is based up on e.g. a JDBC connection, JSON or XML file and can be configured to allow access for specific users or groups.
The Web API is extended with an import and export option as well as requesting a list of datasources and their detail information.
