The following information is derived from the plugin description.
The i-net Designer is a powerful desktop application for creating professional reports. With this plugin, you can seamlessly integrate the Designer into your server environment—for example, into Drive—to open and edit report templates directly from the server.
The plugin makes the i-net Designer available both on the home screen and in the app selection. You have two options for launching the Designer on the client:
- JNLP Launcher: The Designer can be launched directly via a JNLP link. This requires a compatible launcher, such as OpenWebStart, on the client.
- Local Designer: You can download the installer for the local Designer via the provided, operating system-specific links and install it locally. Please note that an active internet connection on the client is required for the download. n The plugin contains the complete i-net Designer package, enabling flexible access to all design functions directly from your web environment. If neither the JNLP launcher nor a locally installed i-net Designer is available, users can create simple reports using the Ad Hoc plugin.
